Job Summary
The Utility Locator places a high priority on safety and quality while performing line locating. The Locator uses magnetic sensing equipment and maps to identify the location of underground utility lines and pipes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret utility plans / prints to identify the type and size of underground utilities.
- Provide accurate documentation and or sketches related to locates completed.
- Perform work in all weather conditions during normal and after hours.
- Strong attention to detail
- Must always comply with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices while operating equipment according to Pramiras safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- 3 years of locating experience is preferred
- Must be experience with GPR and Radiodetection
- Must be 18 years old have a valid driver license with clean driving record
- Self-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructions
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers
- Must have the ability to exert heavy physical effort lift heavy physical objects kneel crouch balance climb or crawl
- Must pass a Drug Test & Background Check
Additional Information :
Pay range:$25-$30/hr DOE
