Lab Support Technician Group Coordinator

For our team in Leiden we are looking for an enthusiastic Lab Support Technician Group Coordinator to lead a new team but who is also operationally involved themselves..
In this position you will provide lab support to the team carrying our early development studies into new large molecule pharmaceuticals. You will be required to adhere to GxP guidelines and your activities will include:

• Coordination and planning of lab (support) activities and coordination with external stakeholders such as but not limited to EVM and IT.
• Support peak workloads by measuring samples and conducting other practical work as required.
• Support calibration and verification of equipment.
• Inventory management for laboratory (place orders restock etc)
• Cleaning of equipment and laboratory
• Support chemical/biological waste disposal as required
• Coordinate and carry out 6S/Safety checks and action items as required

Qualifications :

• MLO or BSc degree in Biology Biochemistry Life Sciences or related sciences;
• Experience in a pharmaceutical environment and knowledge of GxP is preferred;
• You are flexible and proactive;
• You enjoy working in a team and communicate well;
• You are accurate and have great attention to detail;
• You can work independently;
• You are a quick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment;
• You are self-motivated with a positive attitude;
• You enjoy volunteering your ideas and working on continuously improving your environment.
• You are fluent in English (Spoken/written)
