Job Summary

For our project in Riga (Latvia) where we are currently building the new central train station we are looking for an experienced MEP Manager with a passion for large size construction projects.

Your role will be:

You hold the knowhow of the MEP part of the project in all its aspects: design performance installations testing & commissioning and the interaction with other trades;
You will be overall responsible for all MEP construction works on-site and managing all resources for the construction works. The scope of the MEP works contains the HVAC systems electricity (transformers and low voltage) elevators building management system safety and security systems passenger information systems etc
You direct all aspects of the execution of the project and you monitor and coordinate work performed by your team (3 technical office engineers and 3 site superintendents);
You select audit and supervise the subcontractors;
You maintain regular contact with the customers or their representatives;
You report directly to the Technical Office Manager on the progress and output of your own teams and suppliers.
You provide the planning input for the MEP works;
You organize and assist in technical coordination meetings with subcontractors and project staff;

Qualifications :

Bachelor or Master degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent Engineering Degree;
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in MEP works and at least a first solid experience in a similar managerial position and industry
Experience with the testing & commissioning phase is important for us (ideally for public spaces).
Experience with managing a team
Excellent written and spoken English; Knowledge of Russian and/or Latvian can be a plus;
Experience on large size international construction projects;
You are willing to work and live in Riga Latvia.
