The Team
The Terrace Court Registry is a mixed team of 10 dedicated professionalsincluding full-time part-time and auxiliary staffwho work together to support the smooth operation of the court system. As part of this team youll collaborate with other Court and Registry Clerks Registry Technicians a Registry Supervisor and a Manager as well as partners such as Crown staff Sheriff Services the Judiciary legal counsel RCMP and other community partners. Our work helps ensure fair and accessible justice for everyone and we value a welcoming supportive environment built on accuracy integrity and service excellence.
The Role
In this combined Accounting Clerk and Court Clerk role youll support both financial and court operations by handling reconciliations trust and revenue processing cash balancing and deposits while also assisting the Court Registry with data entry client service filing and accurate court documentation. Your work helps ensure that peopleregardless of their background or circumstancescan access a fair and reliable justice system by supporting partners such as the Judiciary RCMP and Crown Counsel. This position offers ongoing opportunities to learn grow travel and gain handson experience in accounting as well as Provincial and Supreme Court processes across Criminal Civil and Family law.

Terrace: Known most famously as the home of the Kermode (Spirit) Bear Terrace and the surrounding area is perfect for hiking mountain biking camping rock climbing canoeing cross-country skiing snowmobiling and snowshoeing. Terrace is the territory of the Tsimshian First Nation who share their culture including traditional longhouses.
