ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our healthcare team in Sylvania OH.
In this role you will provide comprehensive patient care including assessment diagnosis treatment and follow-up across Speech Therapy services. Working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise excellent communication skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Work with 8 ENT Physicians
- Patient population consists of voice upper airway swallowing disorders and impairments related to head and neck cancer and laryngeal voice rehabilitation.
- Heavy emphasis on videostroboscopy and FEES examinations
- Assist postoperative laryngectomy patients and restoring speech after surgery TEP (Tracheoesophageal puncture) management
- Perform and interpret laryngeal imaging and laryngeal function studies
- Training in voice assessment and treatment (spoken and/or sung)
- Work in partnership with another SLP within the office
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program in communication sciences and disorders
- Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
- Licensed or ability to obtain Ohio Licensure
