Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR)
Location: New York NY 10016
Duration: 14 Weeks (One Contract No Extension)
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 Days/Week 11.5 Hours/Day
Hours per Week: 37.5
Pay Rate: $75 $81 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift assignment in New York NY. The ideal candidate will have strong scrub and circulating experience including CVOR exposure and be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scrub and circulating duties for a variety of surgical procedures
Prepare operating rooms ensuring proper equipment instrumentation and sterile technique
Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operative procedures
Administer medications including conscious sedation per protocol
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required
Monitor patient status before during and after surgical procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety infection control and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience (Scrub & Circulating)
CVOR experience is required
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
Education
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Certifications & Licensure (Required)
Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification of RN license via NYSED
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
