Location: Brooklyn NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 8:00 PM 8:30 AM
Pay Rate: $65 $70 per hour
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment in Brooklyn NY. The RN will be responsible for providing safe effective patient care while continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and report abnormalities promptly
Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process (assessment planning implementation and evaluation)
Administer medications IV therapy and conscious sedation in accordance with clinical protocols
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and post-care instructions
Ensure compliance with hospital policies safety standards and infection control guidelines
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
2 years of conscious sedation experience
Education
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Certifications & Licensure
Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification of RN license through the NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
