Responsibilities
Calculates prepares and delivers human milk and infant formula based upon the providers order for all infants in the Special Care Nursery. Performs inventory completes temperature/sanitation records and schedules operates feeding preparation equipment maintains proper sanitation policy and procedures in Infant Feeding Prep (IFP) area and performs quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED
- Completion of Ohio State University: Infant Feeding Technician Certification Course within 2 years of hire date.
- Successful completion of basic math exam.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
