About the Role
As a Parts Counterperson youll assist both retail and internal customers with parts inquiries and sales ensure our inventory stays organized and accurate and play a key role in keeping our service department running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers with parts questions orders and purchases
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
Work with the Parts Manager to locate and order out-of-stock parts
Communicate professionally with customers technicians and vendors about order status
Maintain organized stock areas and complete regular inventory checks
Follow all dealership and safety procedures
Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive parts sales preferred (Ford dealership experience a plus)
Strong product knowledge and ability to identify customer needs quickly
Excellent communication organization and time-management skills
Basic computer and inventory system knowledge
Positive friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
High school diploma or equivalent
