The Department of Informatics and Health Data Science has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Postdoctoral Scholar to work on the UHealth campus. The Post Doctoral Scholar takes initiative and works independently in developing new research ideas and troubleshooting new assays. Further the incumbent facilitates the training of students residents fellows and other trainees.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assists in planning and designing research experiments establishes priorities and recommends schedules.

• Presents research findings at local and national scientific conferences.

• Writes technical publications and reports.

• Designs and writes programs to perform analysis and produces written reports on results.

• Collects pilot data to help support new and competing renewal applications.

• Supervises undergraduate and graduate research students and performs literature reviews.

• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or Ph.D. in relevant field
