Make an Impact

As Compliance Lead you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Endeavour Foundation meets its regulatory quality and compliance obligations with a particular focus on the operations of our Work Division. You will work closely with leaders across employment services manufacturing and commercial operations supporting compliance under high-value government programs and contracts.

You will support the development and implementation of organisational compliance framework coach a small team and provide expert advice that strengthens accountability risk awareness and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key duties of this role are to:

  • Partner with the Work Division to manage compliance obligations under government contracts including Workforce Australia and Inclusive Employment Australia and commercial production contracts.
  • Support the development implementation and maintenance of Endeavour Foundations compliance framework.
  • Provide expert advice to leaders on regulatory legislative and contractual obligations across employment disability and manufacturing services.
  • Deliver accurate risk-based compliance reporting to senior leaders Executives and the Board.
  • Monitor regulatory and legislative change and operationalise impacts across the business.
  • Identify compliance risks and gaps and work with stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Design and facilitate compliance education and awareness initiatives across the organisation.
  • Oversee the development and embedding of policies procedures and governance documents.
  • Lead coach and develop a small compliance team to deliver high-quality governance and assurance activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to uplift compliance capability and drive consistent service delivery.

What you can bring to the team

You are an experienced compliance professional who thrives in complex regulated environments. You can interpret and operationalise legislation influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively with operational leaders to drive meaningful practical compliance outcomes.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • At least five years experience in compliance monitoring and/or risk management in a large organisation or government body.
  • At least three years experience leading small teams including recruitment coaching and performance management.
  • Strong experience writing and embedding policies procedures and governance documents.
  • Exposure to the disability sector regulatory environment including NDIS Act 2013 privacy child safety WHS corporations gaming and modern slavery legislation.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • High-level analytical reporting problem-solving and legislative interpretation capability.
  • Experience presenting compliance reporting dashboards or frameworks to varied audiences.
  • Experience with contract management (beneficial).

You will be required to undertake aFit2Work National Criminal History Check andhold or be willing to obtain aBlue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
