Torch Technologies is seeking a Platform/Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and support core cloud infrastructureincluding networking computing storage IAM and monitoringat IL56 levels. This role contributes to the internal developer platform (IDP) to simplify cloud and Kubernetes usage and supports platform improvements under senior guidance ensuring reliability security and compliance.
As a Platform/Infrastructure Engineer your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Support the implementation and maintenance of the internal developer platform across IL56 cloud environments.
Assist in defining standards for platform security scalability and availability.
Integrate DevSecOps practices into platform workflows.
Collaborate with development teams on platform features and enhancements.
Automate provisioning configuration and monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
Ensure system scalability availability and compliance under senior guidance.
Monitor and maintain cloud services for networking computing storage IAM and overall system health.
Required Qualifications:
US Citizenship.
Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Computer Science a related field or equivalent experience.
5 years of related experience.
Clearance Requirements: Active or eligible for DoD Security Clearance.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes Helm and containerized environments.
Experience with IL56 Cloud Networking compute storage IAM and monitoring.
Proficiency in automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Proficiency in troubleshooting monitoring and performance analysis tools.
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
