Occupational Health Specialist - LPN

At PilgrimsSafety IsACondition which means the safety of our team members comes first - always.

In this key roleyoullserve as the first point of care for employees providing both routine and emergency medical attention for work-related and general health issues. Based primarily in the on-sitenursesstationyoulldeliver care conduct health assessments and screenings and manage medical records. The role also requires mobility to respond to incidents on the production floor helpingmaintaina safe healthy and productive workplace.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide on-site medical care withinnursingscope and protocols.

Respond promptly to workplace and general health issues.

Perform health screenings (drug/alcohol tests spirometry and audiometry).

Maintainaccuratehealth records for OSHA andstatecompliance.

Ensure confidentiality in all health matters.

Support safety and ergonomic initiatives.

Assistwith wellness programs and employee health education.

Help manage and document workers compensation cases.

Take onadditionalresponsibilities as needed to support the health and safety team.

WhatYoullNeed

Education:Current unrestricted state license as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.

Certifications:Current CPR/First Aid/AED card. If selected Pilgrims willfacilitatebecoming certified in urine drug screen and breath alcohol collections.

Experience:Prefer 1 years experience in the nursing hours can be acceptable for graduate nurses.
