Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Join our team in Ionia Michigan where we are seeking a locum CRNA to provide independent anesthesia care for both general surgical and endoscopy procedures. This opportunity allows you to work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday with remote supervision from an anesthesiologist. There are no on-call requirements making it ideal for those looking to cover vacation needs. The facility features two operating rooms and one endoscopy room all equipped to deliver top-notch care to a diverse patient demographic ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for general surgical and endoscopy procedures.
• Provide independent anesthesia care with remote supervision.
• Perform various anesthesia techniques including minor nerve blocks IV regional anesthesia and plexus anesthesia.
• Manage spinal and epidural anesthesia as needed.
• Oversee patient ventilation management and local infiltration procedures.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to within the operating room and endoscopy areas.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in AANA.
• Active State Medical License in Michigan.
• BLS and ACLS Certifications.
• Clean malpractice and license history preferred.
• Ability to provide a copy of the NPDB self-query (recently pulled).

License and Certification Requirements:
