Job Summary
Lube Technician
Join the Southern Motors Service Team!
Were looking for a reliable detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our growing service department. As a Lube Technician youll play a key role in keeping our customers vehicles running safely and efficiently through expert maintenance and attentive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications
- Inspect vehicle systems and components for leaks wear or other potential issues
- Check and adjust tire pressure as needed
- Replace filters windshield wipers batteries and other basic parts
- Lubricate moving parts to ensure optimal performance
- Keep engines and work areas clean during servicing
- Communicate vehicle concerns to lead technicians or service advisors
- Complete accurate service reports for customers
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in automotive maintenance or repair preferred
- ASE certification a plus
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
- Strong attention to detail manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
- Commitment to providing top-quality customer service
