Wintel Engineer

Job Overview:

Wintel Engineer responsible for the support implementation maintenance of Windows and Intel-based server environments. This role involves managing server hardware operating systems and associated applications to ensure optimal performance availability and security.

Job Description:

• Support and maintain Windows-based systems. Include Active Directory Exchange File & Print DNS DHCP and Windows related system server.
• Monitor Windows server performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware and software.
• Plan implement and oversee IT projects related to Wintel systems including upgrades migrations and new deployments.
• Plan for server preventive maintenance implement patching and updates.
• Create and maintain technical documentation policies and procedures related to Wintel systems.
• Support system project implementation related to Wintel systems including upgrades migrations and new deployments.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends relevant to Wintel systems in the financial sector.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
• Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems ().
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with hands-on experience in managing Windows Server environments and Intel-based hardware.
• Experience with Intel-based server hardware and virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware Redhat Virtualization).
• Knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy and related services.
• Understanding of network configurations and services (e.g. DNS DHCP TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Understand financial sector system environment is a plus
