Summary
Varex Imaging headquartered in Salt Lake City USA is a leading innovator developer and manufacturer of X-ray imaging component solutions which includes X-ray tubes digital flat panel detectors software and other key components of X-ray imaging systems.Extensive hands-on experience with both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole (THT) assembly lines in high-volume High-Mix Low Volume manufacturing environments The Process & Equipment Engineer is responsible for developing implementing and optimizing PCBA manufacturing processes and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment. This role involves process design Equipment Programming installation preventive maintenance planning Equipment Maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to meet quality cost and delivery targets.
Job Description
Your Role
- Operate maintain and troubleshoot PCB Assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Hands-on experience in maintaining Fuji AIMEX Lines including placement head maintenance.
- Program and generate recipes for Printer Koh Young SPI & AOI and Fuji Placement Machines.
- Knowledge of Fuji Flexa / Nexim software is an added advantage.
- Strong programming knowledge of Koh Young inspection equipment AOI (mandatory).
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Prepare periodic maintenance checklists and develop maintenance plans.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Assist in process optimization to improve efficiency yield and quality.
- Participate in failure analysis with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) for placement-related issues and support yield improvement initiatives.
- Process design and prepare relevant stage wise WIs.
- Knowledge of jigs/fixture design to optimise processes.
- Ensure to comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
- Prepare Critical list of spares and maintain.
Your Profile...
- Bachelors degree in Electronics engineering with minimum 4 years of experience or
- Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience.
