Shift: Night Shift 7:30 PM 8:00 AM
Schedule: 3 days/week 11.5 hours/day
Total Hours: 34.5 hours/week
Pay Rate: $65 $70 per hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Deliveryfor an exciting job in Brooklyn NY.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe evidence-based nursing care during labor delivery and postpartum recovery
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Perform IV insertion phlebotomy and medication administration as required
Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation when applicable
Educate patients and families on labor delivery and postpartum care
Accurately document patient assessments interventions and outcomes
Collaborate with physicians midwives and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery or MaternalChild Health experience
Minimum of 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience with conscious sedation

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Certifications & Licensure

Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification through NYSED
AHA BLS certification
AHA ACLS certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
