Job Summary
- Hazardous Waste Handling (Incl. E-waste and batteries)-
- Oversee receipt storage and categorization of hazardous waste /E waste.
- Coordinate with govt. approved vendor for disposal date. Arrange for transport and manpower.
- Environment Compliance
- Ensure EHS compliance by taking safety rounds
- Conduct EAI (EnvironmentAspect Impact) at plant.
- Health Compliance
- Ensuring the OHC including medicine procurement and updation of patient records.
- Ensure availability of fully equipped first-aid boxes in all departments.
- Safety Compliance
- Promote and encourage people to identify and report more unsafe act unsafe condition and near miss. Also track the closure rate more than 90%.
- Jointly investigate accident to close out accident reports.
- Environment Management (ETP/Evaporator/ UFRO)-
- Supervision of operation of ETP ETP lab.
- Ensuring prepare chemicals and effluent sampling at ETP.
- Ensuring ETP & ETP Lab log books are filled and maintained.
- Statutory Compliance
- Prepare all documentation to obtain EHS approvals.
- Prepare other legal/regulatory documents such as HPGWA Form 3/4 Environment statement & fulfillment of documents as per Fire NOC.
