Preferred Certifications: NRP ACLS PEARSOverview The Registered Respiratory Therapist works under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Coordinator and/or Manger/Director and assists physicians in the treatment of patients with conditions affecting the cardiopulmonary system. This includes patient testing teaching assessment ventilator management and delivery of therapy. Functions as part of the Code Blue team assuming responsibility for airway management. Also provides technical assistance to non-registered Respiratory Care staff.
