Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team working on an innovative power generation project for a state-of-the-art facility. This role will focus on the design implementation and optimization of a combined heat and power (CHP) cogeneration system including natural gas infrastructure and energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and engineer power generation systems
Develop and implement combined heat and power (CHP) cogeneration solutions to maximize energy efficiency
Design electrical infrastructure for on-site power plant operations including natural gas generation systems
Plan and integrate energy storage systems to ensure continuous power supply and load balancing
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers construction teams and facility operations
Ensure all designs meet safety standards regulatory requirements and environmental compliance

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proven design experience in electrical systems and power generation
High voltage electrical systems experience required
Knowledge of cogeneration (CHP) systems and natural gas power generation
Experience with energy storage technologies and integration
Strong understanding of critical infrastructure
Familiarity with relevant codes standards and safety regulations (NEC NFPA etc.)
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Preferred Skills

Experience with power plant design and construction
Knowledge of microgrid systems and distributed energy resources
Proficiency in AutoCAD ETAP or similar electrical design software
Strong project management and communication skills
