Job Summary

Locum Physician - Gastroenterology in Bay City MI

Join a vibrant healthcare team in Bay City Michigan as we seek skilled Gastroenterologists to provide 24-hour call coverage. The medical facility offers a supportive environment complete with hospitalist support and a GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital.

Schedule: Monday 7 AM - Friday 7 PM call. No weekend call required.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care and patient management.
ERCP procedures are required.
Collaborate with hospitalist and colorectal surgeons.
Participate in 24-hour call coverage as scheduled.
Assist with other medical duties as directed by the facility.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
Active Michigan medical license (MI License Required).
ERCP proficiency is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

Michigan medical license (no compact licenses accepted).
DEA certification must be current at the time of start.
Required immunizations: Hep B MMR Varicella and Flu (for the current season).
Documentation of TB clearance within the last 12 months.
Tdap vaccine required within the last 10 years.
