Primary Responsibilities
Draft review and manage transaction documents (PAs leases estoppels SNDAs assignments deeds closing statements).
Order and analyze title commitments surveys zoning reports UCC/litigation/bankruptcy searches and prepare objection letters/summaries.
Manage critical dates coordinate with title/survey companies order reports handle wire transfers and ensure all closing conditions are met.
Prepare closing documents instruction letters and oversee the final execution and funding of complex commercial deals.
Assist attorneys with complex legal tasks research and ensuring compliance with real estate laws.
Act as a key liaison between attorneys clients title agents lenders and other professionals.
Follow the ethical requirements as set forth by the Firms professional liability insurer.
Various other tasks as requested/needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree preferred
A minimum of 5 years in related law firm experience as a Real Estate Paralegal required
Strong understanding of real estate law title procedures and contract terms.
Exceptional organizational multitasking and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Possess the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys staff and clients and provide information with courtesy and tact in person electronically and by phone.
Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
California and New York Pay range for this role with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience is $110000 - $165000.
