Job Summary

Join Axpo in Malmö as part of our dynamic Nordic finance team and play a pivotal role in building and optimizing an in-house accounting function. As a (Senior) Accountant you will manage complex operational and technical accounting tasks drive process improvements and ensure seamless integration across our IT platforms.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the Nordic accounting team (primarily in Norway) to execute full-cycle accounting operations for NO/SE/FI.

  • Act as a systems integration specialist for D365BC and related applications - troubleshooting mapping errors resolving data flow issues and supporting automation initiatives.

  • Support group reporting and consolidation (Tagetik IFRS) preparing management reporting packages and ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries.

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of compliance-related reports for NO/SE/FI maintaining relevant documentation and supporting audits as required.

  • Contribute to the documentation and continuous enhancement of internal controls supporting Axpos strong process governance and quality assurance.

  • Participate in cross-training knowledge transfer and provide backup coverage for the Nordic accounting team to support business continuity.

What you bring & who you are:

  • Recognized accounting qualification ideally complemented by training in ERP systems or data integration and advanced proficiency with ERP and reporting platforms (such as BC365 Tagetik Power BI).

  • Solid experience in operational and technical accounting for NO/SE/FI including record-to-report full accounting closes compliance reporting audits and group reporting/consolidation.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team contributing to documentation and continuous improvement of processes and controls.

  • Analytical detail-oriented and proactive with strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and adapt to changing requirements.

  • Willingness to participate in cross-training knowledge sharing and provide backup coverage to support business continuity.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Norwegian Swedish and/or Finnish is a strong advantage.
