About the Opportunity

A tertiary-care cardiology practice within the private healthcare sector is expanding its interventional services in Mehdipatnam Hyderabad. We deliver comprehensive evidence-based cardiovascular carecovering acute coronary syndromes complex PCI structural procedures and advanced intracoronary imagingsupported by a multidisciplinary team and modern cath lab infrastructure.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide on-site consultant-level interventional cardiology care at the Mehdipatnam cath lab: perform coronary angiography elective and emergent PCI and related invasive procedures with high clinical quality.
• Lead procedural planning and intra-procedural decision-making including use of intravascular imaging and physiologic assessment to optimise outcomes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care for complex cardiac patientscollaborate with cardiac surgeons intensivists anesthesiology and allied health teams.
• Ensure cath lab governance: maintain procedural documentation adhere to safety protocols infection control and device/consumable inventory standards.
• Mentor and supervise junior cardiology trainees cath lab nurses and technicians; contribute to training programs and case-based learning.
• Participate in quality improvement clinical audits complication review and protocol development to raise care standards and patient outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• DM/DrNB in Cardiology or equivalent advanced interventional cardiology qualification
• Proven experience performing coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention
• Proficiency in transradial access techniques and complex lesion management
• Familiarity with intravascular imaging and physiologic assessment (IVUS OCT FFR/iFR)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Demonstrated ability to lead cath lab workflows and collaborate in multidisciplinary settings

Preferred

• Experience with structural interventions (e.g. balloon valvuloplasty device closures or TAVI pathways)
• Prior teaching/mentorship roles or active involvement in academic cardiology
• Track record of clinical audit research or publications in interventional cardiology
