Internship dates: May 4th to August 21st 2026 ( with the option to extend for up to two academic terms / one full year )
Location: The position is based at our Mississauga location; internship from Monday to Friday with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like
- Conduct patent searches and extract findings/summaries.
- Work with experienced engineers and support technology harvesting for individuals and groups
- Assist in raising invention disclosures for senior staff members.
- Support invention disclosure reviews.
- Make refine and update existing data visual tools.
- Participate contribute deliver presentations in Engineering.
- Contribute to patent portfolio refinement of P&W.
What do you need to be successful
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Software engineering / Aerospace engineering / Engineering Physics / Systems Engineering
- Excellent communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 23.10 to 33.30 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
