Summary:Utilizes the principles of the nursing process to provide for continuity and quality of nursing care administered to a specific group of neonate pediatric adolescent adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy goals policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care departments.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN Preferred.
Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years of Med/Surg experience and/or 1 year of peds experience
License: Have a current license issued by New York State to practice as a registered nurse. BLS and PALS certifications required.
