Join our Liquid Handling department as a Field Service Technician where youll play a crucial role in servicing repairing and calibrating single and multichannel pipettes at customer sites. Your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service will be key as you cover North of England and into Scotland.
We actively consider applicants from different disciplines who bring transferable skills in diagnostics servicing electromechanical equipment and customer support. Full training on laboratory standards pipettes and our processes will be provided.
The team consists of 2 Engineers and we arelooking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is available full time. You will be working in the field and ideally living near Leeds or the surrounding counties.
Grow with us YourResponsibilities
Perform on-site maintenance calibration repair and functional testing of pipettes
Manage on-site maintenance testing and troubleshooting of pipettes diagnosing errors and determining effective solutions
Produce detailed service reports and issue certificates of analysis promptly
Ensure compliance with GMP ISO and UKAS requirements and internal SOPs
Collaborate closely with the technical team sharing insights across the organisation
Act as a trusted partner to customers building strong relationships and driving satisfaction and customer retention
What will convince us
Experience with laboratory equipment or other technical equipment is beneficial but training will be provided
Field service experience in pharmaceutical biological or chemical industries is desirable though candidates from manufacturing electronics and other sectors are welcome to apply
Experience working with industry standards such as UKAS ISO or equivalent would be preferable
Strong troubleshooting testing and servicing skills
Ability to work autonomously adapt to changing schedules and travel as needed
Customer focused communicator who can explain technical issues clearly and professionally
Hold a valid UK driving licence
