Warehouse Clerk-Receiving Clerk

Provides support to full team members in warehouse functions. Works closely with Operations Supervisors and Team Lead to ensure facility customer service and productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to keep the team moving forward toward an appreciative and positive work environment.

Major Responsibilities:

• Processing Inbound and Outbound shipments in the warehouse
• Control the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times
• Resolve discrepancies
• Interact with warehouse associates and trouble shoot issues
• Assist with daily and weekly reports
• Jointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics
• Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements
• Other projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of shipping/receiving experience required
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• WMS experience preferred
• Smartsheet experience preferred
• Strong computer and mathematical skills required
• Frequent interaction with warehouse workers with daily tasks good interpersonal skills required
• Multi-tasking required must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
• Regular predictable full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application submit to a background investigation (to include past employment education and criminal history) and drug screening required.
