We have immediate openings for current or retired teachers to score Latin.

- Scoring the Texas Educator Certification Examinations provides educators with a unique opportunity to network with peers support their profession and stay up to date with current practices and content.
- Scorers are provided with the opportunity to learn a process for evaluating responses to performance assignments effectively and fairly.
- Scorers are provided with a thorough orientation to the methodology of how to score responses and gain valuable assessment skills in the process.
- All scoring is done during the day remotely via Teams. Scoring sessions are conducted 4 times a year for one day and scorers are scheduled based on their availability.
- Compensation is hourly at $17.50 per hour.
Overall Responsibilities
- Evaluates teacher certification candidate responses to constructed-response items in a reliable manner and scores according to supplied scoring guide.
- Successfully internalizes training and participates in discussions.
- Meets quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program.
- May be required to pass qualifying test before scoring.
Qualifications
- Conferred a minimum of a bachelors degree from an Accredited College or University.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a Texas school.
- Taught the specific content field being scored within the past 3 yearsin a Texas school.
- Valid and current Texas certification required.
- Must reside in the state of Texas.
- Basic computer skills (keyboard mouse).
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to maintain a confidential work environment.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
