Domestic Assistant. Manor Park Care Home

• Hours: 30 per week
• Salary: £12.60 per hour
• Shifts: Between the hours of 8am-6:30pm

Manor Park Care Home is now open in the heart of Malton! Our purpose-built care facility provides exceptional residential nursing and dementia care. We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistants to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our residents.

Key Responsibilities.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout residents’ rooms communal areas and service spaces.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules ensuring compliance with infection control and health & safety standards.
• Handle laundry duties including washing drying ironing and distribution of residents’ clothing and linens.
• Ensure bedding and towels are regularly changed and maintained to a high standard.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate team.
• Work collaboratively with care and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless and supportive environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents always respecting their privacy and preferences.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous domestic housekeeping or cleaning experience ideally in a care home hotel or healthcare setting.
• A strong understanding of infection control and hygiene best practices.
• A friendly respectful and compassionate approach to working in a care environment.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends if required.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.
