Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant at CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) will be responsible for providing high level administrative support and office management to the Paul Albrechtsen Research Institute CCMB. The incumbent will provide confidential administrative support for leadership enter payroll for the department and perform other duties as assigned to meet the department objectives. The incumbent will also assist the department with hiring coordination and preparation of financial paper work preparation and upkeep of administrative standard operating procedures and coverage for out-of-scope administrative duties.
The Administrative Assistant will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize a large complex workload to meet deadlines. The incumbent has the ability to coordinate workflow and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions exercise sound judgement maintain confidentiality and be willing to assume a variety of assignments as required. The candidate must be a self-starter have the ability to work both independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision.
The incumbent will work to ensure a high level of coordination and communication between CCMB the University of Manitoba and other various stakeholders.
