Internship dates: May 4th to August 21st 2026

Location: The position is based at our Mississaugalocation; internship from Monday to Friday with flexible hours and exclusively on-site

Perform work on assignments associated with the design of gas turbine engine accessories; specifically to design validate and certify engine control system components (such as sensors harnesses ignition systems PMAs) for P&WC gas turbine engines. Develops experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.

What will your day-to-day look like

Review evaluate and develop supplier designs of powered electronic and passive electrical accessories needed for aircraft engines to meet performance reliability and customer needs
Create specifications apply technical knowledge
Plan and coordinate with suppliers as required
Define functional operational physical and qualification requirements for engine electronic controlssensors effectors and associated interconnecting components
Support component and system validation test activities as required.
Review and interpret test data produced during component and engine validation testing
Support tasks per ECN accessories design process as required.

What do you need to be successful

Be eligible to work in Canada
Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable Pursuing a degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written). French is an asset

Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities

The salary range for this role is 23.10 to 33.30 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
