Job Summary
Job Description:
Reviews prescriptions issued by Physician or other authorizedprescribertoassureaccuracy anddetermineformulas and ingredients needed.
Directs pharmacy workers engaged in mixing packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals.
Answers questions and provides information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions side effects dosage and storage or pharmaceuticals.
Maintainsestablished procedures concerning quality assurance security of controlled substances and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
Entersdata such as patient name prescribedmedicationand cost tomaintainpharmacy files charge system and inventory.
Assays medications todetermineidentity purity and strength.
Instructs interns and other medical personnel on matterspertaining topharmacy.
Years of experience/education and/orcertificationsrequired:
Must be comfortable being on their feet all day.
No heavy lifting however they will be pushing carts that may be heavy - no more than 30lbs.

MUST be Licensed in IL
Retail Pharmacy experience ( Walgreens Targetetc)
Multi-tasking
Great Communication Skills
Self-motivating
Main priorities:
Must be licensed
Experience in retail/mail order/specialty preferred but not required
Ambitious and looking to grow/learn
Comfortable with contractor pay structure
