Job Summary
We are looking for a CasualFunction & Event Supervisor at the Strathfield Golf Club. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about managing great customer experiences in functions events & bistro dining and passionate about hospitality. A strong background in hospitality is essential.
If youre an experienced function waiter ready to step up your career or a Function/ Supervisor looking for a change this role offers a fantastic chance to grow and take on more responsibility in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The Role
- Casual position with flexible working hours between Monday - Sunday (mainly daytime shifts)
- Lead and manage events across multiple spaces
- Oversee all service aspects from setupto serviceto pack down
- Supervise a team of skilled waitstaff and bartenders
- Act as the primary client liaison throughout the event
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service
- Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism

What were Looking For
- 612 months previous experience as a Function Waiter orVenue Supervisor
- Previous function experiencehighly regarded
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and acan-do attitude
- Passion for creating memorable event experiences
Youll also bring:
- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for food and beverage
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid RSA certification
