JOB SUMMARY

BKV isseekinga skilled detail-oriented early career OperationsEngineer Ito join our Upstream Operations team in Fort Worth Texas.

This roleis responsible formonitoring gas gathering system performance and supporting the coordination between BKV Operations Gathering System companies and internal stakeholders across the upstream business. The OperationsEngineer Isupports operational efficiency system optimization regulatory compliance and performance reporting.

This role requires strong analytical capabilities effective communication skills and a foundational understanding of upstream and midstream natural gas positionoperatesin a fast-paced environment and contributes directly to safe reliable and cost-effective operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Typical job responsibilities of the Operations Engineer I include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with Upstream Operations Midstream gathering and pipeline companies and the Commercial team to ensuretimelyandaccuratemovement of natural gas.

  • Support daily nomination activities and respond to operational changesimpactingproduction transportation and system performance.

  • Participate in daily operational meetings with field operations Foremen and the Commercial team to align on planned and unplanned maintenance outages affecting nominations.

  • Collaborate with the BKV Development team to ensure gathering system readiness for new volume deliveries and assess potential line pressure impacts.

  • Analyze operational constraints and develop recommendations tooptimizeassetutilizationand minimize operating costs.

  • Partner with field teams tooptimizegas lift compressor fleet horsepowerutilizationand overall system performance.

  • Collaborate with the Regulatory team tomaintainRailroad Commission of Texas (RRC) Critical Infrastructure documentation and reporting.

  • Support compliance with applicable federal state and local regulations related to upstream natural gas operations.

  • Assistin generating daily weekly and monthly operational reports.

  • Track and analyze performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven operational and business decisions.

  • Identifyupstream operational risks related to natural gas operations and system performance.

  • Support the development and execution of contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to ensure safe reliable and resilient operations.

  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Performadditionaloperational engineering support duties as assigned consistent with the scope of the role.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with upstream IT and analytics tools (e.g. Spotfire Power BI SAP SCADA systems such as Cygnet or Wonderware).

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Foundational understanding of upstream and midstream natural gas operations; financial concepts are a plus.

  • Strong organization time management and collaboration skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Finance orrelatedfield.

  • Prior experience in the energy industry preferred (early career professionals encouraged to apply).

  • Equivalentcombination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS

Work Location:

  • Fort Worth Texas office

Hybrid Schedule:

  • Onsite 34 days per week with the ability to workremotely12 days per week based on business needs.

Travel:

  • Up to 10%of travelmay be including occasional travel to BKVs Denver Colorado headquarters.

  • Work Environment: Office-based environment with collaborativeworkspaces;may occasionally be exposed to moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

  • Ability tooperatea computer and standard office equipment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds may be.
