Our client a well-established government services contractor supporting mission-critical classified programs is seeking a Senior System Administrator (TS/Poly) to support mission-critical classified IT systems in a highly secure enterprise environment. This is a direct-hire position offering long-term program stability technical ownership and the opportunity to work on systems that directly support national security operations.
In this role you will be responsible for the implementation daily operation monitoring and optimization of classified IT systems including client/server storage network and mobile environments. You will serve as a senior escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues providing deep technical troubleshooting and ensuring high availability performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation troubleshooting and maintenance of classified IT systems
Manage daily configuration operation and monitoring of enterprise infrastructure
Serve as an escalation point for complex system hardware and dispatch system issues
Maintain system integrity availability and performance
Perform capacity analysis and resource utilization planning
Configure and manage Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems
Install load and maintain operating system software
Configure and maintain network components in accordance with security requirements
Implement system enhancements to improve reliability performance and availability
Provide detailed technical analysis and feedback for escalated incidents
Requirements
Active Top Secret clearance with an active Polygraph (must be current)
Minimum 10 years of experience as a System Administrator supporting programs of similar scope complexity and classification
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated experience supporting classified IT environments
Strong experience providing:
Advanced troubleshooting skills across enterprise systems and infrastructure
Hands-on experience with:
Windows Server administration
UNIX/Linux administration
Operating system installation configuration and patching
Experience supporting and maintaining:
Client/server systems
Storage systems
Network devices
Mobile devices
Experience with system monitoring incident response and root cause analysis
Ability to communicate technical status and escalation updates to agency leadership and internal stakeholders in a classified environment
