THE ROLE

As Engineer you are ultimately responsible for the overall technical condition of the hotel. You ensure a safe well-maintained and compliant hotel environment and are a crucial link between operations management and external partners.
You report to the General Manager and work closely with all departments. With your leadership structure and technical expertise you ensure continuity quality and guest experience in a 24/7 hotel environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ultimate responsibility for the Technical Services

• Ensuring safety health fire safety and legal compliance

• Compliance with Marriott standards Transcendent and audit requirements

• Management of Preventive Maintenance and resolution of faults

• Guiding projects renovations and CapEx

• Energy and water management including sustainability initiatives

• Budget cost and contract management

• Leading coaching and developing the technical team

• Reporting on KPIs compliance and maintenance status

WHAT YOU BRING

• Good command of the English language both verbally and in writing

• Strong in administration and structured work

• Demonstrable leadership and sense of responsibility

• Analytical solution-oriented and communicative

• Experience in a hotel or similar 24/7 environment is a strong advantage
