Role Overview
The Managing Director will be responsible for overall business leadership with particular emphasis on business development client acquisition revenue growth and market expansion within the public sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the firms growth strategy for public-sector consulting engagements
- Identify originate and close new business opportunities across government institutions agencies and parastatals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior public-sector stakeholders and decision-makers
- Drive go-to-market strategies proposals pitches and contract negotiations
- Oversee delivery quality client satisfaction and long-term account growth
- Represent the firm at high-level meetings conferences and industry forums
- Provide strategic input to the Group leadership on market trends and expansion opportunities
- Ensure achievement of revenue profitability and operational targets
Requirements
Required Experience & Profile
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a senior managerial or executive role
- Strong background engaging the public sector preferably within financial services consulting or regulated institutions
- Demonstrated success in business development revenue generation and stakeholder management
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close complex deals
- Excellent leadership presentation and communication skills
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (postgraduate qualification is an advantage)
