Job Duties:

Purpose & Key Responsibilities

Lead the design engineering and operations of core infrastructure platforms including compute storage network backup automation and monitoring.
Oversee critical infrastructure solution delivery ensuring alignment with HKEX standards cybersecurity controls and regulatory requirements.
Serve as SME on Linux platform operations infrastructure modernization and operational automation.
Drive adoption of modern technologies (e.g. containerization orchestration IaC).
Manage technical planning project timelines risk assessments and implementation quality.
Provide Tier3 escalation support and lead critical incident management.
Mentor and develop junior engineers; review technical designs and workflows.
Maintain and improve internal processes through automation documentation and standards enforcement.
Collaborate with InfoSec Engineering and Operations teams to ensure endtoend reliability and resilience.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of handson infrastructure engineering experience including Linux server/Cloud administration troubleshooting and hardening.
Experience in public cloud container platforms or storage/backup preferred.
Strong handson experience in SDN/SDWAN cloud virtual networking and modern network architectures.
Strong understanding of automation scripting and process improvement.
Proven project / technical leadership experience in large-scale IT environments.
Degree in Computer Science IT or related field.
Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and crossteam collaboration skills.
