The Business Development Intern will support strategic initiatives that drive growth and innovation. This role offers hands-on experience in market analysis strategic planning and partnership development. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in evaluating new business opportunities and preparing insights for leadership.

Responsibilities

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Assist in developing strategic plans and business models for new initiatives.
Support M&A and licensing projects through data gathering and preliminary analysis.
Prepare presentations reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on business development goals.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for growth.



Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a Masters program (MBA or related field preferred)
  • Must graduate December 2026 or later
  • Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
  • Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations candidate must be a U.S. citizen U.S. permanent resident or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Knowledge of business development processes mergers & acquisitions or licensing.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) is a plus.

The application period for the intern position is estimated to be through the end of March 2026; however this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
