About the Role:

The Organic Growth squad works on accelerating growth for Remitly by building great experiences and infrastructure that powers the website. The team owns the entire technology backend and front end customer experience that enables someone to discover Remitly through SEO and then convert into a customer. Youll work closely with design product management marketing and other engineering teams to achieve this goal. Youll report to the Director of Engineering.

You Will:

Own and shape the technology stack that powers our websites pages to make them more discoverable and performant.
Improve our content management system to make it more powerful scalable and easy to use for non technical people
Collaborate directly with your customers (marketing team) within Remitly to develop products and features that help our customer acquisition efforts

You Have:

A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
5 years of experience as a software developer
An understanding of software development best practices and software design patterns
Expertise working with frontend web technologies like JavaScript TypeScript React and CSS
Experience with performance optimization techniques and best practices.
Experience with setup and improvement of CI/CD for frontend.
An understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS Kubernetes)
Experience with internationalization for WEB (RTL fonts etc.)
(Preferred) Working with backend technology like Java
(Preferred) Experience with accessibility (WCAG 2.0)
(Preferred) Knowledge of SEO conversion optimization and marketing funnels
(Preferred) Experience with A/B testing
