Job Summary

Summary of Duties:
This position provides health services to students and school staff. Responsibilities include: administering health screenings and medications providing first aid care to students and staff providing instruction on health-related topics and other duties as assigned by the School Principal and Director of Student Services and Special Education and Related Services.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a B.S. in Nursing
Valid Commonwealth of Virginia registered nursing license
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; ability to assist with lifting select students as needed
Two years of previous experience with child and adolescent health care preferred

Salary:
Range for 2025-2026 is $53000 to $82843 with an additional supplement of $4230 for the advanced degree of Masterss or $8460 for Doctorate.

Workday:
Full time / 10 month (200 Days) position 7 hours per day Monday through Friday.
