The Opportunity:
High Flying Foods is looking for experienced Line Cooks to float between our Gotts Roadside and Farmerbrown restaurants at San Francisco International Airport. This position requires open availability with shifts ranging between 3:3011:30am or 8:30am11:30pm seven days a week.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cook and plate food to order according to our recipes portion standards and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Follow safety protocols and kitchen practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.
- Set up and maintain an organized clean kitchen station daily ensuring all ingredients tools and equipment are stocked and ready for service.
- Properly handle store and rotate ingredients using FIFO (First In First Out) to maintain the quality and freshness of our products.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Complete prep lists and other kitchen checklists to ensure all tasks are handled before service begins.
- Execute cleaning duties as assigned to maintain a sanitary kitchen environment.
- Communicate with the manager at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure smooth operations and that all tasks are completed.
- Perform any other tasks as required to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience working as a line cook in a high-volume fast-paced kitchen environment
- Open availabilityincluding nights weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates andmanagers
- Ability to memorize and follow recipes accurately measure ingredients and adhere to food preparation guidelines
- Demonstrated skill in knife handling and proficiency with kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
- A valid Food Handlers Card (or willingness to obtain during training as required by law)
- Ability to stand walk bend twist and kneel for duration of shift
- Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting while ensuring high-quality results
