About the Role

As a Sourcing Manager Infrastructure Supply Chain you will develop and execute sourcing strategies for compute storage networking equipment and infrastructure services supporting hyperscale datacenter operations. You will build and manage supplier relationships with OEMs ODMs component manufacturers and service providers to deliver capacity cost optimization quality and innovation objectives.

Focus

  • Analyze market trends commodity pricing technology roadmaps and supply dynamics; provide market intelligence to engineering and business stakeholders on total cost of ownership lead times capacity and innovation opportunities

  • Identify evaluate and qualify suppliers; manage relationships ensuring performance excellence in delivery quality cost and innovation through scorecards KPIs and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)

  • Conduct competitive bidding RFx processes and negotiations with OEMs ODMs networking vendors and VARs

  • Lead contract negotiations including pricing terms SLAs and warranties; manage MSAs purchase agreements and SOWs while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements

  • Partner with capacity planning engineering and program management teams to forecast infrastructure needs and align procurement timelines with deployment schedules

  • Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for compute servers storage networking equipment (switches routers optics) core components (CPUs GPUs memory) and infrastructure services

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5 years of sourcing procurement or category management in technology IT hardware or hyperscale/HPC environments

  • Experience with supply chain management logistics demand planning and capacity forecasting in high-volume environments

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills with proven track record delivering cost savings and business value

  • Excellent analytical financial modeling and stakeholder management skills; proficiency in Excel data visualization tools and procurement systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree (MBA) or advanced degree; 8 years in strategic sourcing at hyperscale providers (AWS Google Cloud Azure OCI Meta) or large technology companies

  • Deep understanding of datacenter infrastructure (compute servers storage networking components)

  • Established relationships with OEMs (Dell Supermicro HPE etc.) networking equipment (Arista Juniper Cisco etc.) core components(Intel AMD Nvidia etc.) and VARs integrator distributors and various other service providers.

The base salary range for this position is $150000- $200000 per year depending on experience skills qualifications and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
