Description Of Job Duties
Participate in Camps training programs during spring term and before start of summer camps operations including completion of sexual misconduct training module Serve in scheduled rotations during the week and weekends of the summer Provide exceptional customer service Field questions and answer calls about summer camps and other summer events Assist office and custodial staff Perform certain residence life duties including but not limited to room check-in and check-out and on-call duty Generate Room Condition Reports Perform hospitality services (i.e. bed making. room cleaning set up) Oversee group use of campus facilities Act as a knowledgeable liaison between North Central College and camp representatives Serve as a role model and representative of North Central College and set a positive example for all campus visitors Follow all college policies and Summer Conference Services and Camps Staff guidelines during tenure of role as Summer Conference Services and Camps Staff. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and respect Complete set up and take down of equipment for events ( tables chairs water coolers etc.) Assist with other duties assigned as needed by the characteristics of the event type
Job Qualifications
Completion of all application materials North Central College student in good academic standing Effective leadership and interpersonal skills Demonstrated knowledge of campus resources or willingness to learn Required on-campus living Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with members of the Naperville and surrounding communities and North Central College students faculty and staff Experience as a member of an athletic team student organization or volunteer experience is preferred Camp assistants must consent to a background check prior to the start of the Summer Term Valid Drivers license and completion of North Central College Driver Certification strongly encouraged All other job opportunities during the same time period must be discussed with supervisors Summer Conference Services and Camps Staff may serve as RAs or Orientation Leaders Employment dates: Sunday May 10 2026 Saturday August 8 2026
