Job Description
Koopman Lumber is hiring a dependable and safety-focused Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to deliver building materials to customers and job sites. This position involves local deliveries with daily home time.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a non-CDL box truck
- Deliver building materials including cabinets windows doors and trim
- Load and unload materials as needed (physical work required)
- Use a company-provided phone to take delivery confirmation photos
- Complete delivery paperwork and required reports
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and submit inspection reports
- Follow all DOT safety and company policies
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
Requirements
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Current DOT Medical Card (required)
- Non-CDL box truck driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift and handle building materials safely
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos and reporting
- Reliable punctual and safety-oriented
