Job Summary
- Location: Remote with New York City preferred
- Commitment: 20 hours/week with potential to extend and expand scope
- Duration: 12 weeks with potential to extend
- Hourly Rate: $70/hr

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Designer who can operate at the intersection of brand thinking and hands-on execution. This role requires a designer who can ideate elevate and evolve our clients visual storytelling while rolling up their sleeves to produce refined deliverables efficiently and consistently. They will have a new set of brand guidelines and templates to work off of and will need to deliver visually compelling work that is highly creative while also consistent with the visual identity.
This designer will support short-term high priority needs while becoming part of a longer-term design vision that can flex with evolving business demands.
Prioritized Responsibilities
Brand & Visual Design Execution
- Design high-quality visual assets across digital paid media social web email print and internal communications
- Create original imagery layouts and data visualizations aligned to Apollos brand standards
- Ensure visual consistency across campaigns platforms and touchpoints
Presentation & Visual Storytelling
- Design and format PowerPoint presentations for leadership and other key audiences
- Translate complex information into clear compelling visual narratives
- Build presentation templates and modular systems that scale
Digital Social & Motion Support
- Design social assets including LinkedIn tiles and YouTube thumbnails
- Support website and email design needs (banners image sourcing and resizing data visualization and layout support)
- Create light motion or animated assets for social and digital channels (nice to have not required)
Collaboration & Feedback Integration
- Partner closely with marketing communications and content teams
- Take direction and feedback well while proactively pushing creative thinking forward
- Deliver high-quality work under short turnaround times without sacrificing craft
Qualifications :
Who You Are
- 7 years of experience as a senior-level designer visual designer or mid-level creative director
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign Express; After Effects a plus)
- Advanced proficiency with Figma
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint expertise; fluency across Microsoft Office required
- Demonstrated experience designing for digital social and presentation-heavy environments
- Experience with financial services or regulated industries is helpful but not required
