At SHG were looking for an Employment & Customer Training Team Leader to manage and guide our Employment & Customer Training Team ensuring customers receive high-quality support to progress into employment training education and work placements.


In this pivotal role youll cultivate a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to tackling unemployment promoting social inclusion and building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Youll ensure our services are integrated with local and regional employment training and education frameworks delivering consistent quality and impact.

What youll do:
Lead and motivate a team of Employment Officers and specialists to achieve performance targets.
Lead and manage the Customer Training service driving engagement attendance and learning outcomes for customers.
Drive a culture of excellence ensuring customer experience is at the heart of everything we do.
Monitor service delivery manage risks and produce performance reports.
Build and maintain partnerships with local and regional employment training and education providers.
Use customer feedback to continuously improve services.

About you:
Experienced in managing and developing frontline teams.
Skilled in performance management and delivering contract outcomes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
Highly organised solution-focused and confident in prioritising complex workloads.
Knowledge of the benefits system local labour market and safeguarding practices.
IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
