About the Role:

Step into the role of Senior Program Manager and become the driving force behind one of ATCOs most ambitious technology this pivotal position youll orchestrate complex cross-functional technology projects that shape the future of the organization. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to lead diverse teams collaborate with business leads and vendors and turn bold ideas into reality.

Youll play a pivotal role in driving complex technology initiatives to successful completion shape project success by crafting clear project charters building robust work plans and ensuring all technical and business requirements are tracked validated and delivered. Your project leadership will shine as you will help lead key meetings provide transparent updates to executives and sponsors and keep everyone aligned on goals timelines and outcomes.

What You Get to Do:

Governance & Communication

  • Serve as the main project management contact for reporting and updates
  • Lead working sessions to drive accountability for deliverables
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities using the RACI model
  • Align stakeholders on scope timelines and outcomes
  • Facilitate informed decision-making with timely information
  • Manage vendor performance against contractual obligations ensuring compliance with scope service levels and delivery commitments

Project Planning & Documentation

  • Lead projects following Project Charters and Integrated Plans

  • Collaborate on financial plans and track budgets with the Project Controller

Project Execution & Control

  • Escalate roadblocks and coordinate solutions

  • Ensure compliance with project management best practices

  • Monitor scope schedule and budget with project controls

  • Allocate resources based on work package definitions

  • Bridge business leads and technical teams for solution design

  • Deliver projects on time and within budget

  • Oversee vendor execution to ensure deliverables integrations and milestones align with contractual commitments and technical requirements

Risk Issue & Change Management

  • Maintain up-to-date logs for issues risks decisions and changes
  • Proactively manage risks and present technical options in business terms.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and motivate internal teams external resources and vendors
  • Define and communicate roles accountabilities and success measures
  • Collaborate to finalize project deliverables
  • Drive vendor accountability through clear expectations and adherence to contract terms

What You Bring:

  • Postsecondary education in Business Administration Engineering or Computer Science

  • PMPPgMP ITIL or BRMPdesignation

  • 10years with increasing responsibilities for management and delivery of multi-million technology solutions.
  • Deep background leading initiatives within matrixed projectdriven environments where priorities shift rapidly and resource alignment is critical.

  • Demonstrated success coordinating parallel workstreams across PMO engineering operations and business units to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Experience establishing project governance structures defining delivery frameworks and standardizing processes across technology portfolios

  • Skilled at balancing strategic planning with handson execution in environments that rely heavily on structured project methodologies

  • Proven ability to assess organizational readiness drive changemanagement activities and ensure adoption of new systems and processes

  • Familiarity with portfolio management practices including prioritization resource modeling and benefits realization tracking

  • Familiarity with both shared outsourced and in-house business solutions

  • Familiarity with project management practices applied to large-scale enterprise systems (e.g. financial asset customer information workforce management) including coordinating cross-functional teams managing system dependencies and ensuring end-to-end delivery and working with project management tools such as Jira (preferred) or similar applications

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise tech environments: cloud integration digital platforms

  • Exposure to regulated environments in Alberta and major tech upgrades is an asset

  • Skilled in analyzing and resolving complex issues

  • Excellent communicator and presenter able to explain technical topics to any audience

  • Strong negotiator and conflict resolver

  • Self-motivated collaborative and creative

  • Experienced in business operations project accounting and billing

  • Strong leadership team motivation and budget management skills
